JOB LEVEL AND SALARY WILL DEPEND ON CANDIDATE'S QUALIFICATIONS JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: •Install, inspect, maintain, operate, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and adjust various pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, electronic, and Programmable Logic (PLC) control systems. •Perform preventative maintenance checks on pumps, compressors, drivers, and auxiliary equipment. •Perform Inspection and Maintenance (I & M) checks on all control systems. •Maintain electrical switch gear and power distribution. •Perform advanced engine/compressor/pump analytical testing. Lead efforts to develop and implement changes as a result of the analytical testing. •Evaluation/development/implementation/maintenance of facility grounding systems. •Install, analyze and repair security/intrusion systems. •Responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of all facilities and equipment as needed. •Oversee the construction and/or maintenance activities performed by third parties. •Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns. •Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork. •Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements. •Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence.
•Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license, and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers. •High School Diploma or GED •Intermediate computer skills (knowledge of MS Office, operating systems, company software) •Intermediate math skills •Proficient with electronic test instruments •Knowledge and experience preparing drawings of electrical circuits •Knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams •Knowledge and experience applying and interpreting results from common electrical measurement instruments (voltmeter, ammeter, ohmmeter, oscilloscope, etc.) •Job planning and prioritizing •Working knowledge of National Electric Codes •Good verbal and written communication skills •Customer focus •Must be able to work with a team, take direction from Supervisor(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus on attention to details, and follow work rules •Must have a good safety record •Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions •Must respond to (and address) callouts and emergencies after regular business hours (requires carrying a communication device) •Overtime and or shift work may be required and is anticipated •Perform compliance driven pipeline tasks such as leak surveys and valve maintenance •Must live within a 45-minute response/travel time to work location •Travel may be required and is anticipated Physical demands: • Physical ability to lift as much as 50lbs, bend/stoop, kneel and climb stairs/ladders. • Ability to use hand tools and equipment, repetitive hand use such as simple grasp and twisting motion included. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: •Associate’s Degree in a technical field, or equivalent skills and experience. •Journeyman or Masters electrical license •Work experience in natural gas industry instrumentation, electronics, and control systems •Understanding of process controls and gas processing fundamentals •Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquids and high pressure systems •Knowledge and experience with high pressure gas, processing equipment, pumps and reciprocating or gas turbine engines and compressors •Knowledge of company policies and practices, and regulatory and tariff requirements
