Raytheon IIS/GIS provides Operations and Maintenance support for the Intelligence Community Job Description : Raytheon is currently seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and technically talented Senior Computer Systems Security Technologist to support the RODEO-2 program. The qualified candidate will join our team of diverse and extremely qualified professionals who maintain innovative and complex operational systems. The system maintainer team requires an individual with cyber or computer system security experience on Windows or Linux platforms who can work in a structured configuration controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time system applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract. Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate’s key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Evaluating platform level problems and providing immediate solutions to restore service - Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) through the required government policy (i.e. NISPOM), JSIG, ICD etc.), make recommendations on process tailoring, participate in and document process activities - Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy - Conduct passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments, self-inspections, and table top testing - Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining assessment and authorization of systems - Support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits - Perform analyses and tests to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards - Support the formal Security, Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports - Document the results of Assessment and Authorization activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the Systems Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M), conduct complete reviews of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until resolved - This position is located in a customer facility Required Skills: - Ability to work in a structured configuration controlled environment, primarily focused on the support and maintenance of real-time systems applications on an Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contract - Experience with cyber or computer systems security experience on Windows or Linux platforms - Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate platform level problems and provide solutions for immediate restoration of service - Requires ability to work under pressure in restoring high-priority systems to operations as well as the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision to support tasks - Self-motivated, excellent time management, organizational and communication skills Highly Desired: - Experience with information system hardening, security control verification and validation, security documentation development (e.g. SCTM, SSP, POA&M) and continuous monitoring activities IAW the JSIG Education / Experience: - BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science or Mathematics or related technical field and a minimum of 6 years of applicable experience – OR - possess a minimum of 14 years directly related experience in lieu of a degree Requirement: - Current TS/SSBI/SCI clearance with CI polygraph - DoD 8570 IAM/IAT certification; Security + or CISSP, or the ability to obtain within six months of hire 112234
